These images are recreations of the intimate dwellings created by homeless people and derelict youth. The inhabitants have all made visual improvements to establish a neccesary level of comfort and identity. I appropriate objects from these spaces to add dimension and issues of personal possesion to the gallery displays. The digitally-altered images are printed as large-format photographs and mounted directly to the gallery walls. |
